About us

Another team that will celebrate BBFC's 10th birthday with us is Fútbol Ciegos Madrid Fútbol Ciegos Madrid is one of the oldest teams in Spain, they are the current Spanish league champions, multiple participants in the Paralympic Games and World Cups.

This team is not new to BBFC, returning after six years, when they won silver medals in 2018. This time they are returning with a new team composition and a huge motivation.

“Fútbol Ciegos Madrid is one of the oldest blind football teams in Spain. Current Spanish runner-up, we are one of the teams with the most Spanish Leagues and Championships, and the only that has achieve the 1st place in an international tournament (9th Saxon Blind Football Cup, Leipzig 2022). We played this tournament back in 2018 and we want to repeat such fantastic experience. Some players have gone, some new faces, but we have the same enthusiasm to play this great tournament.” says Madrid´s goalkeeper Alberto García.
